“Quite the High-Roller”

Next Card Gambling Story » »
I recently heard the story of a great high rolling Australian billionaire with a love for blackjack. It is typical of Las Vegas high roller stories and you can substitute Japanese, Chinese, Texan, movie star, baseball team owner or whoever for the Australian lead character. This man likes to bet $50,000 a hand - and play all seven hands at a table. That’s $350,000 in action per round! He prefers shoe games. The casino of his choice flies him and his party in first class, puts him and his party up in the most luxurious of suites, lavishes him and his party with gifts and gourmet meals. Nothing is too good for Mr. High Roller. A casino host told me in private that the hotel spends $30,000 a visit on this individual.

Sound like a lot?

The last visit Mr. High Roller lost - $9,000,000! That’s nine million. NINE MILLION DOLLARS!

The casino made $9,000,000 for an investment of a lousy $30,000! Mr. High Roller could buy a lion’s share of the hotel for $9,000,000. Sadly, in their desire to be treated like kings, many high rollers will bet their kingdoms.
